Privacy and children's photos

Your child's photo is a trust. This page explains plainly what we do with it and who sees it.

What we collect

Your child's first name, gender, age, one to three photos, and their drawing if you add one. We don't ask for family names or schools for parent books.

Consent

No photo is uploaded before a guardian's explicit consent; we keep a copy of the consent text and its date.

Storage and deletion

Original photos are stored encrypted in private storage and are only opened through links that expire within 15 minutes. Originals and the drawing are deleted automatically within 24 hours of approving the character; abandoned drafts after 30 days. You can ask us to delete all of your child's data at any time, and we delete the photos, character and books immediately.

Who sees the photos

We never send photos to analytics or advertising services. They go only to the AI providers that draw the book, through their paid APIs:

Story writing

Anthropic (Claude) writes and reviews the story. Its commercial terms: "Anthropic may not train models on Customer Content from Services" (Commercial Terms, effective June 17, 2025).

Page illustration

We draw through fal.ai with Google's Nano Banana 2 model. Google's terms for paid services: Google doesn't use prompts or responses to improve its products and keeps them for a limited time only to detect abuse. With fal we switch off request-history storage, send images inside the request instead of uploading them to their file servers, and set any generated file to expire within 15 minutes. fal's data processing addendum limits processing of personal data to our instructions.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data or have it deleted at any time by contacting us by email or support WhatsApp.
